Hi. I’m Kyla, Founder of Kyla Dawn Salon. Thank you for visiting my site!

I’ve had a passion for hairdressing since I was a little girl and would style my grandma’s hair into crazy ponytails. I officially started my hairdressing journey in 2002 after studying under a plethora of apprenticeships. I became a licensed journeymen stylist and co-founded my first salon in 2007. Since then, I have undergone extensive training and have years of experience in colouring, hair extensions and advanced cutting techniques. I have travelled internationally to hair shows, competitions and education workshops. I ventured out on my own in 2015 when I started Kyla Dawn Hair Salon and have both men woman and children clients. 

Recently we relocated to St. Albert and I have fallen in love with the community here. I have created a space that is bright, welcoming and convenient – truly an in-home salon experience. As your stylist, it is my goal to help you envision the look you want to achieve, provide education, recommendations and the highest quality service and products you would expect from a well established salon.
